Is the whole guest host storyline the worst angle in recent WWE history?

I think this whole celebrity guest host angle is the stupidest thing WWE has done in recent history (and that’s saying a lot). If it were just former (or even current) wrestlers doing it that would be one thing (The Million dollar man episode was actually pretty good). But I am not interested in seeing people like Seth Green and ZZ top host Raw. I’m not even sure who the people hosting last night were. Anyone agree?

Chosen Answer:

Well I would have to say this is a bad way to get ratings.

It pisses off the wrestling fans but sometimes if it justs pisses you off well there’s the off switch.
You could just not watch it.
That’s for the real wrestling fans just don’t simply watch it.

Next week it’s Sarge.
It might be interesting.
But if it turns out bad then just don’t watch it.

It’s just for the casual fas so if you don’t want t watch this shít don’t watch it.
I hate how people here complain but then sit down on their living room at Monday Nights and go watch RAW.
You know just don’t watch it.

And BTW McMahon’s Million Dollar Mania is the worst in recent memory.

No, The Katie Vick angle between Kane and Triple H was the worst angle in WWE history.

Nope. I think it’s great. And you don’t know who Jeremy Piven is? Really? Wow.

It’s all for the ratings. Raw will get higher ratings if they invite famous people to Raw and have them ‘take control.’

It may not be what REAL wrestling fans like, but it certainly will attract the casual fans, which is what WWE targets.

I dont actually completely agree with you, but i dont disagree with you either. It’s a good idea to attract more casual fans, but it annoys the real hardcore wrestling fans, which Raw has been doing alot lately.

i didnt know he was and tbh i didnt think he did very well. but shaq was amazing! i will never forget that. and i think its quite a good idea, but some of them should be more extreme and maybe be a proper heel and give whatever the heels want and help destroy the faces for the night. there are so many possibilitys. i thought seth and zztop were good but nothing on shaq, and last nights was all right even though the hosts were appaling and that pimp guy annoyed me a lot because he wasnt funny and he tried to hard but hey it was still enjoyable and watchable.
i cant wait for sgt slaughter next week!!

Its not a bad angle if you ask me like many others have said and will say it’s about getting fans that don’t watch WWE that often to tune in and hopefully watch and like it so Vince can make his money and be happy
